Teledyne Technologies Wins $15 Million Contract from Army Test and Evaluation Center

LOS ANGELES - May 28, 2002 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. has received a Blanket Purchase Agreement from the U.S. Army's Test and Evaluation Center (ATEC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. Aberdeen Proving Ground is the Army's oldest active proving ground where the design and testing of ordnance materiel is carried out.

Teledyne Brown expects to receive up to $15 million in task orders over a five-year performance period. Teledyne will provide the Army with technical expertise and other professional services for use in various test and evaluation activities.
