Teledyne Technologies to Deliver Hydrogen Supply System for Fuel Cell Powered Buses

LOS ANGELES - January 10, 2001 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY) announced today that its Energy Systems business unit has agreed to provide a Titan HP series hydrogen gas supply system for SunLine Transit Agency.

SunLine Transit Agency operates the country's first 100 percent clean-fuels fleet of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles. SunLine provides public transit, para-transit (for disabled persons), and regional street-sweeping services for customers in the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley areas of California. The fleet, currently comprised of buses powered by compressed natural gas, will also include fuel cell powered buses.

Teledyne Energy Systems supplied SunLine with its Altus Series hydrogen generator three years ago in their initial demonstration project, and that generator is still in continuous operation.
