Teledyne Technologies Signs New Broadband Wireless Development Contracts
LOS ANGELES - March 26, 2001 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that it has signed two contracts with a world leader in mobile communications for the development of high capability, low-cost RF transceivers for deployment in second and third generation cellular networks throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Teledyne Technologies expects to develop and supply a variety of transceivers in the 7, 8, 13 and 15 Ghz frequency bands. Initial production deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2001.
